Macau’s gross gaming and betting revenue for the second quarter fell 3.5 percent from the previous quarter to 74.04 billion patacas, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) announced yesterday.
Gross revenue generated by casinos’ games of chance dropped 3.66 percent to 73.7 billion patacas quarter on quarter (QOQ).
Casinos’ gross revenue accounted for 99.6 percent of the total revenue generated by the gaming and betting industry in the second quarter. VIP baccarat accounted for 55.4 percent of the total gross revenue generated by casinos’ games of chance. VIP baccarat gross revenue fell 4.4 percent QOQ to 42.95 billion patacas.
