A story about a boy discovering an aeroplane in the cupboard and flying away high into the sky, and then running out of fuel and making a landing on the moon where he meets a Martian who is also stuck there, will come to life in a stage adaption of “The Way Back Home”, a book by Northern Irish illustrator-writer Oliver Jeffers.
The Teatre Refleksion from Denmark will have nine performances at the Macau Cultural Centre from today until Sunday using a black theatre approach to shine a light on a magical show of puppetry and music, best enjoyed by children aged 4 to 8.
The show’s performers Aapo Juana Repo and Neasa Padhraicín Ní Chuanaigh demonstrated a scene of the 50-minute tale about friendship during a meet-the-press event yesterday.
