Myanmar to give MSAR passport holders visa-on-arrival

The Identification Services Bureau (DSI) said in a statement yesterday that it has been notified by the Consulate General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Hong Kong that the holders of Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) passports will be granted visa-on-arrival entry to the country as a tourist.

According to the statement, the MSAR passport holders can apply for the visa-on-arrival at three airports in the country, namely Yangon International Airport, Mandalay International Airport and Nay Pyi Taw International Airport for a maximum stay of 30 days, effective from October 1.

The statement noted that a total of 138 countries and territories have granted visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to holders of MSAR passports.
