A good way to beat the heat in this furnace of a summer is to sit down and enjoy a show. In his pyjamas, Dirk Van Boxelaere will be performing gravity-defying acrobatic moves as he tries to get some sleep on a flying piano when Fien Van Herwegen plays lullabies while sitting mid-air.

The circus duo from Belgium started their D’Irque & Fien group in 2005 with their original piece “Oh suivant” (“Oh following”), then created “Carrousel des moutons” (“Sheep Carousel”) which they have been touring around the world putting on almost 1,000 shows over the past five to six years.

Tonight, they will locally debut their “Sheep Carousel” at the Macau Cultural Centre (CCM), with shows also tomorrow and on Sunday.
