Ten varieties of durian and a dozen or so other dishes infused with the flesh or aroma of the King of Fruit will be the highlight of the Malaysian Food Festival taking place at Oasis at Galaxy Macau from August 16-31.
It is the 7th year that Galaxy is organising the festival, which time time will feature an array of authentic Malaysian dishes prepared by its guest chefs from Malaysia, as well as durians imported daily from Malaysia and durian dishes such as “Baked lobster with durian and cheese” and “Double boiled coconut chicken soup with durian and abalone” which only has a hint of the taste of durian, suitable for those who are not into durians (yet) but want to try.
Those who are a bit more adventurous and diehard durian lovers can try the pizza that uses the D24 durian, and desserts such as the durian crème brûlée, durian ice-cream, durian Portuguese egg tarts, durian serradurra, and sticky rice with durian, as the aroma and flavour are more intense.
