Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes said yesterday that next month’s opening of the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link will also benefit the development of Macau.
Senna Fernandes made the remarks while speaking to reporters at Anim’Arte Nam Van on the sidelines of an event promoting the city’s tourism.
The Hong Kong government announced last week that the Hong Kong section of the express rail link will come into operation on September 23.
