Early yesterday morning, two guests staying in a suite in a Cotai resort-hotel were robbed of valuables worth HK$200,000 by three men, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Leng Kam Lun said during a regular press conference yesterday.
Leng said that the two victims – a male mainlander in his 60s and a female mainlander in her 30s –were visiting Macau on a business trip.
According to Leng, the male victim went to a casino to gamble on Tuesday night and returned to the suite at 3 a.m. yesterday. While he was in the lift, he saw three suspicious men. As the male victim walked out of out the lift and went to the suite to open the door, the trio suddenly attacked him from behind.
