2 Malaysians caught with 3.6 kg of cocaine

Drugs wrapped to look like chocolate bars: police

Judiciary Police (PJ) officers yesterday arrested a man and a woman, both from Malaysia, for smuggling about 3.6 kilos of cocaine wrapped to look like chocolate bars into Macau.

Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson Tam Weng Keong made the announcement late last night outside the local airport after the arrests earlier in the day.

According to Tam, the estimated street value of the cocaine is about 11 million patacas.

According to the spokesperson, the 27-year-old male suspect is surnamed Habibatin, while the 28-year-old female suspect is surnamed Saraswathi.
