Iranian chef with German origins Mansour Memarian will be presenting a culinary experience with his take on Persian food when he comes to Macau for a four-day stint at Mandarin Oriental.

Memarian is currently Executive Chef at Palazzo Versace Dubai, where he serves Iranian culinary traditions with the subtle use of innovative techniques at the luxury hotel’s Enigma restaurant to deliver a creative gastronomic experience with authentic Persian flavours.

In a recent e-mail interview with MPD Weekender, Memarian said Persian food, which is the root of Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine, is simple yet complex, and uses a huge variety of ingredients, and making it a special experience at Enigma meant keeping guests engaged throughout the meal.
