Local group MFM formed in 2014 and next month will be having their first major concert, “Rule of Three”, at the Venetian Theatre in Cotai.
MFM consists of the trio Adriano Jorge, aka AJ, Josie Ho Chi Cheng and Hyper Lo Ka-hou, and earlier this week Ho and Jorge sat down with MPD Weekender at the Venetian to explain how their journey began, just four short years ago.
MPD Weekender asked Ho and Jorge what MFM stood for and they said that they were going to appear on a Hong Kong television show and didn’t have a name so a producer suggested MFM as they were male, female and male. Ho said, “He also said that MFM was Macau International Airport’s code sign so that it could also mean that we were taking off to different countries to spread ideas. We thought it was a great name.”
