The Executive Council yesterday announced a draft by-law on the organisational structure and operation of the city’s future municipal organisation, according to which its organisational structure will be expanded compared to the soon-to-be-defunct Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM).
Government-drafted by-laws, officially known as administrative regulations, do not require the legislature’s approval.
Leong Heng Teng, the spokesman for the government’s top advisory body, made the announcement during a press conference at Government Headquarters yesterday.
