A local man and a local woman jumped to their deaths in Areia Preta district on Saturday and yesterday respectively while the body of an unidentified man was spotted floating in the sea off Hac Sa beach on Saturday, the Judiciary Police (PJ) said in three statements.
In the first statement, the police identified the deceased as 56-year-old local man surnamed Chang, who lived in a flat in a residential building in Areia Preta.
On Saturday morning, a resident living in the building heard a noise like an object falling, rushed to the scene and discovered Chang lying on the building’s first floor platform. Chang was transferred to a local hospital for emergency treatment where he was pronounced dead.
