Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) passport holders have been granted visa-free access to Myanmar, the Identification Service Bureau said in a statement yesterday.
MSAR passport holders can now enter Myanmar for tourism purposes through Yangon International Airport, Mandalay International Airport, Nay Pyi Taw International Airport, Yangon international seaport, Myanmar-Thailand land border checkpoints and Myanmar-India land border checkpoints for a maximum stay of 30 days, the bureau said.
This new measure has been launched on a trial basis for one year starting from the beginning of this month.
A total of 138 countries and regions have agreed to grant visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to MSAR passport holders.
