The Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) announced in a statement yesterday that the Bureau’s Macau Youth Work Experience and Training Programme will open for applications from today to March 15.
According to the statement, the programme, which was launched in cooperation with Huawei Services (Hong Kong) Co. Limited Macau Branch, will offer 25 internships in Macau, Tianjin or Shenzhen for a period of eight weeks.
The DSAL will subsidise the interns’ accommodation and basic living expenses and provide a scholarship of 5,000 patacas per month, while a one-time round-trip travel allowance and travel insurance of 4,000 patacas (Tianjin) and 500 patacas (Shenzhen) will be issued.
Besides, Huawei will provide a living allowance of 3,500 patacas every four weeks, with the rest of the expenses to be borne by the trainees, the statement said.
According to the statement, applicants must be Macau residents aged 35 or below, have obtained a higher education degree in 2019 or later, and possess professional qualifications and skills required for the internship.
Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. is a multinational technology corporation headquartered in Shenzhen that designs, develops, manufactures and sells telecommunications equipment, consumer electronics, smart devices and various rooftop solar power products.
