Northern District Community Service Consultative Council member Cheang Kam Hong said yesterday that the government should educate the public more about how to handle flood-spoilt foods, in order to ensure food safety.
Cheang made the comments during a regular meeting of the council in Areia Preta.
Cheang said that Macau’s typhoon season is due to end, and the onslaught of Super Typhoon Mangkhut last month showed that the government’s preparations and efforts on disaster prevention and mitigation tasks had paid off.
