The Public Security Police (PSP) have caught a mainlander using a fake Macau ID to work in the city, PSP spokesman Wong Wai Chon said at a press conference in Zape yesterday.
Wong said that last Friday at around 5 p.m. the police received a report from the security department of a hotel in Zape that some people might be using fake Macau ID cards.
According to Wong, a contactor went to the hotel with five male workers to do some renovation work. When a security staff member checked the IDs of the five men, the staff member suspected that three of them had fake IDs, and called the police.
