The Customs Service (SA) and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) said in a statement yesterday that over 1,600 kg of smuggled and uninspected meat, vegetables and seafood were found in restaurants, vegetable stalls and different border checkpoints within their three-day joint action earlier this month.The statement said that SA officers and IAM officials inspected various districts before the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, confiscating 324 kg of vegetables, 9 kg of meat and 14 kg of other food items
