The Macau Basic Law Promotion Association (ADLBM) will put on two courses about the Macau Basic Law in June and September, Ho Sio Kam, secretary of the association, said yesterday, adding that the group will hold a range of activities promoting the city’s ‘mini-constitution’ together with the government.

Ho made the remarks during a press conference held at the Legal Affairs Bureau (DSAJ) in Nape, where she announced that a series of activities are under way to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the promulgation of the Macau Basic Law.

Macau’s highest law was promulgated by the nation’s then-president Jiang Zemin in Beijing on March 31, 1993.
