Health Bureau (SSM) Director Lei Chin Ion said yesterday that his bureau “strongly condemns” a local traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) practitioner for allegedly sexually assaulting a female patient while she was receiving treatment.
Lei made the remarks while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a public event at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf.
The bureau disclosed in a statement on Friday that a woman recently told the bureau that a TCM practitioner surnamed Kou from the Chong An Medical Centre in Chong Fok Commercial Centre in Zape sexually assaulted her while receiving treatment, adding that the victim also reported the case to the police.
