The sky is getting dark earlier as winter arrives, but the city is getting brighter and brighter in the night with all the Christmas lights and lantern decorations, as well as many light installations for the Macau Light Festival that is lighting up the new and old quarters of the city.
Organised by Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the Macau Light Festival, which is in its fourth year, takes the “time travel” theme through a series of projection mapping shows, light installations and interactive games.
New features in the festival include a food truck selling “illuminating” snacks, a Gastronomy Night Market, a virtual reality game as well as a Cultural and Creative Night Market, among others.
