Leong leads ceremony for this year’s countdown gigs

Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) Acting President Leong Wai Man led a traditional worshipping ceremony in Praça do Lago Sai Van yesterday for a successful Macau Countdown Concert 2018 and Taipa Countdown Show 2018.

The Cultural Affairs Bureau and Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) will co-host the two gigs tonight, Leong said during yesterday’s ceremony.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, Leong said, “We estimate that 30,000 people will attend the concert in Macau’s Praça do Lago Sai Van and more than 4,000 people will go to the Taipa Countdown Show at the area of the Taipa Houses Museum.”
