The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that it reported to the police on Sunday the suspected criminal damage caused by someone on Ilha Verde Hill.
After a community association recently told the media about some areas on the hill that have been damaged, IC officials went to the hill to check the situation, the statement said.
Based on the damage on the hill, the IC officials assumed that the damage possibly amounted to a criminal offence, the statement said, adding that consequently the bureau reported the situation to the police on Sunday.
