The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested two men from the mainland on Wednesday for stealing valuables from six restaurant guests since last month, PJ spokesman Ho Chan Nam said during a special press conference yesterday.
Ho identified the two suspects as a 52-year-old wall-and-floor tiler surnamed Mo and a 53-year-old farmer surnamed Xie.
The six victims separately reported to the police between December 12 and Tuesday this week that their valuables had been stolen when they were having lunch or dinner in a restaurant – four cases in casino-hotel resorts in Cotai, one case in Zape, and one in the city centre, according to Ho.
