Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On has called on government officials to abide by the aspirations set out by President Xi Jinping, in order to lead Macau to grasp opportunities that arise from the country’s reform and opening-up policies.
According to a statement by the Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS), Chui briefed dozens of senior officials during a so-called sharing session on Friday on Xi’s speeches on last year’s 40th anniversary of the nation’s reform and opening up.
Xi’s speeches on the country’s reform and opening up had spelt out new visions for national development, Chui said, adding that the aspirations outlined in those speeches served as fresh guidance for Macau’s development.
