The Macau General Union of Neighbourhood Associations (commonly known as Kai Fong), in collaboration with six government entities and two business associations, announced yesterday that it will organise the “Jointly Creating a New Environment for the Community 2019” carnival, aiming together to create a better living environment and a harmonious and safe community to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year (CNY) in a particularly joyful manner.
The carnival is an annual pre-CNY event.
John Chan Ka Leong, a vice-president of the association, made the announcement during a press conference at his group’s headquarters in Toi San district.
