A total of 287 restaurants have made it into the 2019 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide, announced Meituan-Dianping during an award ceremony at Venetian Theatre yesterday.
Meituan-Dianping is one of China’s largest service-focused e-commerce platforms. The guide, which was introduced last year, aims to provide top culinary experiences for customers while at the same time reflect China’s unique culinary preferences.
The latest list of restaurants, each selected from a Chinese perspective, includes 20 Three-Diamond restaurants, 77 Two-Diamond restaurants and 190 One-Diamond restaurants, covering 27 cities including Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, Shunde, ,Taizhou and Yangzhou in China as well as international cities, such as Tokyo and New York.
