The Judiciary Police (PJ) said yesterday a mainland man lost a quantity of gambling chips and cash in a Cotai hotel room yesterday, which the police suspect to have been stolen by a woman he shared the room with the night before.
A PJ spokesperson announced the case during a regular press briefing. However, the spokesperson gave no further information about the woman.
The spokesperson said the victim, who reported the case to the police yesterday, met the suspect when he was gambling in a casino in Cotai at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
