Two boys committed three cases of arson when they started fires in the Iao Hon area early Saturday morning, according to the Fire Service Bureau (CB).
A CB official said on Saturday that the bureau received a report at around 2 a.m. on that day that paper and plastic bags inside a rubbish bin at Seng Yee residential building in Iao Hon district were on fire. The fire was extinguished by a resident, who also reported seeing two children at the site.
Firemen later that night discovered a burnt pile of papers and plastic bags next to a rubbish bin near Kam Sau residential building in Iao Hon district.
