On average, Macau’s 10,585 residential units sold last year cost 6.8 million patacas, about one million patacas more than in 2017, government-owned broadcaster TDM’s Portuguese-speaking radio station reported yesterday.
According to Financial Services Bureau (DSF) data analysed by Radio Macau, 133 more residential units changed hands last year than in 2017, a year-on-year increase of 1.2 percent.
On average, the units sold last year measured 61 square metres, six square metres less than in 2017. On average, last year’s price per square metre in the Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) amounted to 111,237 patacas – 137,396 patacas in Coloane, 112,176 patacas in Taipa and 104,194 patacas on the peninsula.
