A man from the mainland was attacked by a prostitute and a pimp in a hotel guestroom last month after the victim refused to pay the prostitute for her sex service, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokeswoman Lei Hon Nei said during a special press conference yesterday.

The duo attacked the man in their attempt to get the HK$2,000 “service fee”. However, the victim managed to escape from the guestroom during the fight without paying up, according to Lei.

Lei identified the prostitute as a 24-year-old woman surnamed Wang and the male pimp as a 30-year-old surnamed Li. Both are from the mainland.

On January 19 last month, the victim in his forties and his male friend in his fifties visited Macau and checked into the guestroom in Zape, Lei said. At around 10 p.m., the victim phoned Wang for sex in his guestroom for HK$2,000, Lei said.
