The local government yesterday welcomed the promulgation of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA) by the central government.
The Macau government is thankful to the central government for attaching great attention to, and supporting Macau’s involvement in the development of the Greater Bay Area and will study the plan well and work for its implementation, a statement by the Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS) said.
The central government highly values the status of the Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) and the role it can play and has sought the region’s opinions in the course of the plan’s formulation, the statement noted.
