The government announced yesterday that the leaseholder of a plot of land in Ka Ho in Coloane has relinquished five areas on the plot, the concession of which was granted to the leaseholder in 1993 for a tourism and leisure resort project, to make way for the government to expand the Ka Ho Reservoir.
Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo do Rosario made the announcement in an executive order published in the Official Gazette (BO) yesterday.
According to yesterday’s executive order, the land concession for the plot covering an area of 767,373 square metres was granted in January 1993 to Sociedade de Turismo e Desenvolvimento Insular S.A. (Islands Tourism Development Limited) for the construction of a tourism and leisure resort.
