The Macau General Union of Neighbourhood Associations (commonly known as Kai Fong) celebrated International Women’s Day and promoted civic education with a “Learn about Macau” carnival yesterday afternoon.
Dozens of Indonesian non-resident workers and local citizens attended the opening ceremony of the celebration and participated in the activity held at the Pak Wai Performance and Event Venue in Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida.
The theme of yesterday’s celebration was Indonesia, featuring local and Indonesian song and dance performances, Indonesian food-tasting sessions, and a civic education quiz with prizes.
