The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a local man last Tuesday for hitting his “old friend” during an argument after they got drunk, PJ spokesman Lai Man Vai said during a regular press conference yesterday.
Lai said the suspect is a 69-year-old man surnamed Ku. The victim is a 65-year-old man whose surname was not released. Both told the police that they are local retirees.
They said that they share the same hometown and have been “old friends” for many years.
