This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Macau Arts Festival (FAM) and being at a “transitional point”, the annual event organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) is themed “A tribute to the classics”, and its 22 programmes celebrate the classics and even aim to create a new classic.
The festival, taking place from May 3 to June 2, will also have nearly 100 outreach and community activities.
The programmes are divided into six categories: International Highlights, Local Artists, Quintessence of Tradition, Family Entertainment, Melodious Music, and Exhibition.
