LOS ANGELES – A tourist from Macau died last week in a fall while visiting the Grand Canyon West in Arizona, a spokesman for the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles has confirmed.
The consulate contacted US police and confirmed the death of the Macau resident, the spokesman said.
“The Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles expressed deep regret over the death of the tourist and will provide necessary assistance in the aftermath,” he told Xinhua.
