A local man is facing an “aggravated insult” charge after writing a post on the Internet using foul language which lambasted a traffic police officer for issuing a parking ticket for his scooter earlier this week, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Wong Wai Chon said during a regular press conference yesterday.
Wong identified the man as a 30-year-old salesman surname Cheong.
The Traffic Department is run by the Public Security Police.
