Part of Avenida do Coronel Mesquita will have a bus lane which will increase the efficiency of bus operations by 30 percent in that area, Transport Bureau (DSAT) Director Kelvin Lam Hin San said yesterday.
A meeting by the Traffic Consultative Council was held yesterday by the bureau on its premises to discuss the city’s bus-only lanes, the recent public transport situation and the tourist coach controversy. It was attended by about two dozen members of the council.
Lam made the remarks while speaking to reporters after yesterday’s regular meeting of the council.
