Pinocchio, who is mostly known as the marionette boy whose nose grows when he tells lies, will take the audience on a magical adventure as he discovers what it means to be a human in this weekend’s stage performance.

The contemporary dance and physical theatre production “Pinocchio” by UK-based Jasmin Vardimon Company will have two shows this weekend at the Macau Cultural Centre (CCM).

During a meet-the-press at CCM yesterday, Vardimon said that her version offers another interpretation of the original novel “The Adventures of Pinocchio” by Italian writer Carlo Collodi that was published in 1883.
