The Judiciary Police (PJ) said yesterday that they have launched disciplinary proceedings against a PJ officer who was caught driving under the influence (DUI) while on duty last week.
According to a PJ statement yesterday – which did not mention the officer’s gender, the officer was driving a PJ car while on duty last Friday afternoon, during which the car collided with a scooter.
According to the statement, the PJ officer failed to pass a breathalyser test and therefore the Traffic Department of the Public Security Police (PSP) fined the PJ officer for driving under the influence of alcohol.
