Filipino has handcuffs in luggage: police

The police arrested a Filipino on Tuesday morning at the airport for carrying a pair of handcuffs in his luggage on his way back to the Philippines, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesperson Choi Iok Kin said in a regular press conference yesterday.

According to Choi, the police identified the suspect as a 40-year-old Philippine national surnamed Lingad. The pair of handcuffs in his luggage was discovered by security guards when Lingad was about to depart.

Airport security reported the case to the police at 10 a.m. on Tuesday
