An 85-year-old local woman died after being hit by car near Barra on Saturday, the Public Security Police (PSP) said.
The police identified the driver as a local woman surnamed Cheang in her thirties.
According to a police statement on Saturday, the accident happened at around 8 a.m. in Rua do Almirante Sérgio. When Cheang was driving her car from the outdoor car park next to the Maritime Training School, she hit the victim walking there.
