The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested this week a mainlander for burgling a villa in Taipa March last year, PJ spokesman Choi Ian Fai said during a special press conference yesterday.
According to Choi, the 24-year-old suspect is surnamed Wei. He told the police that he is from Guangxi and works as a property agent on the mainland. The victim is a female. Her surname was not released.
The break-in happened at about noon on March 9 last year, according to Choi. The victim only discovered the burglary when she returned home after a three-day trip abroad between March 7 and 10 last year.
