SJM is showcasing world-famous post-impressionist French artist Paul Gauguin’s masterpiece “Coin du Jardin” at Grand Lisboa. It is the first time that the painting, created in 1885, is on display in Asia.
An opening ceremony of “Secret Land – Special Exhibition of Coin du Jardin by Paul Gauguin” was held at Grand Lisboa yesterday. The “Coin du Jardin” (“Garden Corner”) painting, located in the hotel’s lobby, is part of seven exhibitions that SJM has planned for the six-month festival that celebrates all things art in Macau.
An SJM statement points outs that all the seven multidimensional exhibitions are admission free, allowing the public, locals and tourists alike, to become immersed in a unique East-meets-West art and culture experience.
