The General Association of Chinese Students of Macau has set up a concern group to fight against bullying in schools.
The association hosted a press conference yesterday about launching their anti-bullying concern group at the Youth Exchange Station at Iong Veng Building in Rua de Barca.
The convener of the anti-bullying concern group, Ao Hao Seng, noted that according to a report from the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in 2015, bullying among 15-year-olds is particularly severe. Among 53 countries and regions, including the top three of Latvia, New Zealand and Singapore – Macau ranked fourth on the list of the world’s “most bullied” place.
