A 17-year-old schoolgirl was hit by a car yesterday on a zebra crossing in Nape, the Public Security Police (PSP) said.
According to the police, the accident happened at around 5 p.m. in Avenida do Governador Jaime Silvério Marques. The car hit the schoolgirl when she was walking across the zebra crossing outside Kao Yip Middle School.
The schoolgirl, who sustained head injuries and abrasions to her knees, was rushed to the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre for emergency treatment, the police said.
