Local resident Steven Siu Koi Weng, honorary consul of Papua New Guinea in Macau, has announced that he plans to run in the chief executive election next month.
Siu, 73, made the announcement during a press conference at Clube Militar on Saturday.
Siu said that he has a deep affection for Macau as he was born, went to school and has been working and living here. He said that he was an honorary consul for Papua New Guinea.
