The police arrested a non-resident worker on Sunday for sexually abusing a 6-year-old girl in a toilet of a residential building, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Leng Kam Lon said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Leng, the 55-year-old suspect is surnamed Liang. The mainlander told the police he has been working as a cleaner in a residential building in Rua Sul do Patane since March 2017. The victim is a 6-year-old schoolgirl.
The incident happened in June. However, the exact time of the crime was still under investigation, Leng said, adding that the victim went to the Judiciary Police with her father on Sunday afternoon.
