Seventeen short films produced by local amateurs will get a public screening at local coffee shops and then will tour Taiwan and Japan, as part of the “Present Future Film Festival” programme.

The festival is a project by the Amateur Continuing Study Centre iCentre, which belongs to the Macau Federation of Trade Unions (commonly called “Gung Luen” in Cantonese), in collaboration with Taiwan Future Film Development Association, Video Party Kyoto, and Future File Day Executive Committee.

This is the sixth year the festival is taking place, with the number of entries gradually increasing annually, according to the festival’s coordinator Zoe Sou Meng.
