Police arrested two Vietnamese men for illegally working as car washers in Macau, with one of them accused of employing the other one, after checking the ID papers of workers in a car park on Tuesday evening, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Wong Wai Chon said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Wong, one of them – the first suspect – is a Vietnamese man in his forties who is a blue-card holder employed to work as a cleaner in a cleaning company. The second suspect, who is in his thirties, arrived in Macau on a tourist visa. The surnames of both men were not released.
Non-resident workers are colloquially known as blue-card holders.
